How does $0-down solar work?
$0-down solar typically uses a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) or solar lease, where a third party owns the panels on your roof and you pay only for the electricity they produce — usually at a lower rate than your utility. You pay nothing upfront. Qualification depends on homeownership, your electric bill, roof condition, credit, and your state.
Does Energy Pros include battery storage with solar?
Yes. Battery storage is available as an add-on to any home solar installation through the Energy Pros network. A battery stores excess production from your solar panels and keeps key circuits powered during grid outages. Battery is typically financed alongside solar with $0 down. Adding battery is optional — many homeowners start with solar only and add storage later.

No. Energy Pros is a matching service. The actual installation is done by our vetted partner companies — all A-rated, licensed and insured. This means you get specialized expertise for your specific project in your specific area, instead of one company trying to do everything.
How are Energy Pros' installer partners vetted?
Every installer in our network must hold an A or better Better Business Bureau rating, full state licensing, and active general liability and workers' compensation insurance. We also review project history, customer reviews, and warranty terms before adding them to our network — and remove partners who stop meeting our bar.
How long does roof replacement take?
Most residential roof replacements take 1 to 3 days for the actual installation, depending on roof size and complexity. From your initial Energy Pros consultation to project completion typically takes 2 to 6 weeks, depending on permits, materials and weather.
Can I get $0-down solar with bad credit?
Some $0-down solar programs accept lower credit scores than traditional financing — PPAs and leases generally have more flexible underwriting than solar loans.
