## How our matching works

1. Homeowner enters ZIP code to confirm we serve their state
2. Homeowner provides phone, first name (so we can call if they qualify)
3. Homeowner answers brief qualification questions: electric bill range, homeownership, roof condition
4. Homeowner provides email, last name (for written quote)
5. If they qualify, we match them with a vetted installer in their area within 24 hours
6. The installer provides a free, no-obligation quote
7. Homeowner decides whether to proceed

We are paid by the installer network on completed contracts. The service is free to homeowners. We do not sell personal data to third parties beyond the matched installer.

## Vetting criteria for installer network

Before any installer joins the EnergyPros network, we verify:
1. Active state contractor license in good standing
2. $1M+ general liability insurance
3. Workers' compensation insurance for all crew
4. A or better BBB rating
5. Manufacturer certifications (panel, inverter, or shingle manufacturer authorization)
6. Minimum 5 years in business, 500+ solar installations or 1,000+ roof installations
7. Clean complaint and litigation history

Re-verification occurs every 90 days. Persistent quality issues result in network removal.
